"The ranch is a very charming and unique hotel, a green oasis in the middle of the desert! The grounds contain everything you need, from a restaurant to a general store (with groceries) and museum. The rooms, however, were running a bit outdated - and both the bathroom heater and the toilet were broken in ours. "

"Evergreen Lodge was a little piece of nature-inspired wilderness. We were upgraded upon check-in, and the staff was kind and friendly. There were definitely lots of holiday-related activities that my kid was able to participate in. We hope to make it back here with more family and friends in the future."

The most notable tip here is that it feels like a split property. You have the new, modern, excellent bungalow style rooms/suites and then the other building, which is like a traditional hotel. "We booked 2 adjoining rooms, we put the kids in 1 and parents in the other. It was nice to have locks on both sides for privacy and open the doors for family time. The beds were very comfortable, the water pressure/temp was perfect, and the rooms were clean. I would definitely book this again for another Yosemite family trip."
