"Great place to stay. Great location. The hotel is beautiful, the staff treats you like you are a VIP. We only ate at the Schooners Restaurant on site. The food and staff was excellent. You have the option of eating inside or out. Both nights we ate outside. The heaters kept us warm and we enjoyed the sounds of the crashing waves. We stayed on the fourth floor apparently below the gym, which is on the fifth floor. The gym opens at 6 AM and two out of the three nights we slept there we could hear someone running on the treadmill at 6 AM. The sound was not loud but it was noticeable. We were on the water side and the sea lions were barking all night. We kept the windows closed and the sound was barely noticeable. The rooms are nice. The gym is really good for a hotel gym. I can’t speak about the spa since I didn’t use it. All in all we loved this place and would stay there again."

"The Edgewater never fails! It’s always clean and comfortable. Easy access to the beach and restaurants! We’ve been staying here for over 15 years and it’s always a great experience. "

"We loved the king fireplace room. It was big cozy and had great decor. The amenities were nice and we had a long bike ride with the complimentary bikes. The only issue was the gym needed attention to sanitation, such as an abundance of wipes and hand sanitizer. The staff did put new wipes in the gym after we asked. Overall, a very nice property and room for the price."
