The floors do squeak a little when you walk, but that is part of the charm It is definitely more of an inn than a hotel. We really enjoyed ourselves. My one suggestion would be that the lounge area and the junior suite needs to have a TV on the wall as well"

"This place is a gem in Oneida County. I normally stay elsewhere, then decided to try something new. My room was clean and smoke free. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed with liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner and multiple large towels. My only concern with most hotels are the small side sofa/couches contained within each room. As a tall person I always struggle sitting on and rising from this small furniture. My wife is 5'8" and average weight and I had to lend her a hand just to rise off the sofa. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. My only suggestion for the front desk would be to take a customer first mindset. I came to the front desk with a question the group was in the left corner chatting. Caleb walked away from the group but instead of saying "May I help you?" or something similar...nada...he just stared at me. I asked my question after what seemed like an eternity of staring. He did answer my question but is "How may I help you sir/ma'am" so difficult to say when working in a customer service capacity?"
