"We stayed three nights are El Rio Y Mar Resort and wish we could have stayed a week. This resort is hands down the best resort we have stayed at in the Philippines. It's very secluded from the hustle and bustle of Coron yet close enough that you can still do the island hopping tours and excursions. The staff were exceptional from the time you arrive to the time you depart. The food at the ONLY restaurant was absolutely delicious. We were a bit nervous about there only being one restaurant...

"The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Great little hotel away from the main town, a short 15-20min walk into town, with lovely places to eat along the way and great views too. If you don't fancy the walk, the hotel have complimentary taxi to town, but still very cheap if you needed to pay for one when using out of hours. I felt safe walking to town on my own as a female. "Amazing private island with beautiful sunset views. Stayed in beachfront cottage with an incredibly comfortable California King bed, large closet space with a beautiful porch for sunsets. Food was a bit disappointing and restaurant staff not super attentive. Best beach around with clear, warm turquoise waters."
