"Can’t fault the hotel itself, stunning and felt very safe. Very close to Zaandam train station (3 min walk) and easy to get to central Amsterdam. Slight issues such as other guests were smoking right outside the doors and you would have to walk through it almost every time you left the building. Also paid for late checkout but the cleaner didn’t seem to know this and had to try and explain. Overall, would return and great value for money as we paid under £300 for 4 nights"

There are always coffee and treats available. And the staff at the on-site bar made you feel as though you had been staying with them for weeks. "Everything was great – the location, the size of the room, the cleanliness, and the service. The area was quiet and peaceful, which I really appreciated. I was driving, and while there’s parking available nearby, I found street parking more convenient. It’s the same price, and parking is free on Sundays."
