"Joe & Miriam (sp?) were very friendly and engaging hosts. We went to the Caracol Mayan site and also did a boat/swimming/waterfall tour. Joe is very knowledgeable about Mayan ruins. "Beautiful property and really awesome villa! There were so many tropical plants and flowers around the property and villa. It felt very peaceful and private. It was a very unique experience being in the villa because it’s all open floor plan with only screens separating you from the forest. "We stayed in the rooftop honeymoon suite for 3 nights and it did not disappoint! The view was amazing and we loved all the sounds of nature and looking at all the stars at night. It was very private and we had the beautiful pool to ourselves while we were there. Virginia and Louis set up our ATM tour for us and it was the highlight of our trip. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. We would definitely recommend Villa Cayo!"

"We had a wonderful time at the Drift Inn. We had booked it for 2 nights, and decided to stay a 3rd night. One night they had a local drum band preforming, which was amazing! What I did not like was witnessing, a firing of an employee in front of people!!! Very disturbing and disrespectful! "
