"Large typical German style hotel , some rooms & areas look a bit tired, excellent breakfast, disappointing meal in restaurant, very limited menu, bar closed at 10pm, we had a very quiet midweek stay with almost no guests in the hotel however the hotel caters for large disco events on the weekends so be aware ."

"Caution when booking this property through Expedia. We traveled to Germany from the United States, and when we arrived there, they did not have our reservation. After finding someone to speak English, she was able to locate the reservation, however, they were not prepared for our arrival. It seemed to be an inconvenience for them that we were there. "Great room. Clean. Nice personnel. Family room with an amazing view BUT no curtains (children woke up at 5am because of the sunlight). Breakfast OK. There’s a FANTASTIC playground in the garden, and we are definitely staying here again. "

"Very comfortable very clean room great shower, we checked in at around 7 PM. Nobody there, to talk to other than on the ring camera that kept going in and out at least I heard her tell me grab key number seven,, nobody around when we left the next morning, so it was like a hotel to ourselves with other people, possibly in there that I heard one door closed during the night. "

Functional!

"Superb location right across from the train station where coffee shops, bakeries and other fast food options can be found. 10-15 mins walk from historical areas. Room and hotel were clean, got a welcome drink too. Not a cozy place per se, just very functional - I think that's what they are going for. There are a few interesting points that I'd like to point out for non-German guests (as I think it's pretty standard in Germany because now I've stayed in 4 hotels here and they are the same): - "double" bed means two single beds put together. Size wise, yes maybe it's a double, but there's a crack in the middle with two small comforters on top, so what's the point if I can only sleep on one single side anyways? If you are thinking of upgrading because of the bed option, say from a single bed to a double, or two singles to one double, don't bother. If you are a couple and prefers to sleep on the same bed, you will be sleeping on different mattresses. - body wash, shampoo, facial wash - all in one. All four hotels I stayed in had similar one bottle of liquid soap for all washings. If you care about this stuff, now you know to bring extra products. "

"For us the location was perfect just a 10 minute walk to the wedding reception. The courtyard with the different restaurants was really handy, and the staff were great at guving us details of the bus routes to get into the city centre. Was able to park our car in their underground carpark and didn't need it again till we left"
