The rooms are clean, the staff are pleasant but there are just too many problems with the rooms. "This place is a no frills budget hotel and I knew that when I booked it so I can’t really complain. But a few little things could have been done better. When we arrived there was no one to check us in. The machine didn’t recognise our reservation… we were in a bit of a panic and nearly had to call Expedia… however thankfully a lady arrived and gave us our key card! The first room we have been given was not cleaned and very dusty, luckily the staff were very understanding and relocated us in a better room. "We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "

Overnight stay.

"Pleasant hotel and very good position for getting on/off motorway en route south. Comfortable room and comfy beds! No aircon and room very hot ...it was 33° outside. Had to open window which meant lots of flying things came in! Nice to get a kettle in the room.....a definite plus when in France. Most hotels do not offer this. Only gripe is paper cups...our drinks , both hot and cold began to seep through the bottom of them! Please use proper mugs! Good breakfast although basic!"
