"Susan hosted a great stay for my wife and I over four days. The house and room were tidy, and the breakfast offerings were the best bar none. The front porch overlooked a well-manicured lawn on a very quiet street. Susan gave us some history of the area and pointed out stores and restaurants in the area. We were never disappointed. This was a first visit for us to this area and we hope that we can visit Susan again next year. "

"Incorrectly booked another hotel for the wrong night. Cora took us in last minute and was gracious to all of us, even making up a second bed last minute and bringing milk for evening tea. The kids enjoyed the large projection screen and the swingset outside. We couldn't get enough of the view and the beautiful decor. Very well kept and loved by the owner. "Needed a place that was an east commute to Toronto, that was also reasonable in price. Would not have thought about a casino hotel, but Great Blue Heron was a very pleasant surprise. Very clean and quiet, very helpful and friendly staff, lots of parking, decent food at the restaurant, and a pretty drive to it. Also loved the artwork in the corridors. We didn’t have our dogs with us, but was pleased to learn that it is a pet friendly place and with a sensible pet fee (unlike many other so-called pet friendly hotels). We would definitely stay there again."
