It was like stepping into a magical far away land. The history of the hotel and the springs makes you feel connected to the land. The trees, flowers, lizards, statue's, and water brought us into a space of peace. I cannot say enough about Shangri-La. I am actually so greatful we went through our negative experience because it brought us here and we got to have this experience and now have these memories forever. I highly recommend Shangri-La. I have heard that internet is an issue here, but we didn't miss it. We spent our time enjoying each other and the beautiful property. Also, don't forget to buy a spa robe. They are pure luxury.
