"The property is good overall, specially for Buddhist pilgrimage. However if you are a pure vegetarian, you will face problems in food. Not only in the restaurant but in entire Bodhgaya. Apart from that we had a pleasant time in Bodhgaya and this hotel."

Hotel Buddha International

3.0 star property
3.0 out of 10, (4)
"We stayed two nights during Kalachakra. The first room we were given was a cubicle without windows, very humid, filled with mosquitoes and thilthy dirty!! The following night, we got transferred to (possibly) the only room we would recommend in the hotel (room 315). Our overall feeling was that the team in place had no, or very little, hotel management experience (albeit making efforts on the second day). Lastly, the hotel is no longer called Buddha International and the address is incorrect."
Hotel Buddha International

Hotel Jeevak International

Hotel Jeevak International

Hotel Sujata

3.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (6)
"The service was outstanding. People were honest, kind and willing to help in any way. I felt safe there. The food is known (and was) very good and very clean - SAFE with no sickness at all. The cleanliness standards for India is different from the US - and by Indian standards, it was a quite clean hotel. I would definitely stay there again. "

Hotel Taj Darbar

3.5 star property
7.0 out of 10, Good, (12)
"This is a 3 star hotel located about 1.5 miles from the Mahabodhi temple and the Bodhi tree. (When I booked it, the map showed it being very close, but it isn't.) It mostly caters to an Asian audience (Indian, Thai, Tibetan). The restaurant is excellent, as are its prices. (I would order a la carte instead of doing buffets). The room is a bit old and quite small. The bathroom was very nice. The staff is for the most part very friendly and helpful. "

"Our hostess Suman Raj met us with Chai on arrival and was wonderful throughout our stay We were there during the Holi festival and she made all her guests a meal to celebrate The guest house was spotless.
