"We didnt care for it to be run down or for it to be high quality. We did kind of expect to have a running toilet and and easier time with the staff. When we checked in after spending 6 hours in the heat all we wanted was to sit and relax in our room. Upon check-in the guy who worked the front desk just kept talking and talking even after many times of just saying we are tired and want to rest. Neither one of us are really engaging with him yet he talks about his husband as well as showing us a photo of him?? It was just so unprofessional even for a rundown hotel. Then he continued with talk about v8 engines. Took forever to check us in because he was to busy yapping no matter how many "Yeah we are tired." All we wanted to do it check in. Later when we found out the toilet didnt work we went down there and he said that he'd have to come up and take a look. So we take ALL of our luggage back to our cars since we planned on not being there when he fixes it. We tell him he can go fix it we were going to go for dinner. He says no we have to be there so we cant accuse him of theft? Okay whatever. So we wait until morning staff gets there to complain about the toilet and its instantly. "Oh we'll get maintenance right on it!" We didnt even have to be there. Left our luggage in the room and everything!! Like why couldnt the weird guy just say "maintenance will be here in the morning I'll make note for them to do it right away." The morning staff is WAY better to talk to about issues."

"Brief stay for one night. Front desk was friendly and excellent both at night and in the morning. The food and drinks at the restaurant were awesome too. Nice place for an overnight visit. I'd come back. They didn't have a shuttle driver, so the sweet front desk gal took me to the airport. Above and beyond great service!"

"It was my birthday every year on my birthday I stay at motels that's one of my favorites is the Travelodge I stayed at Grand inn pretty much I slept it's quiet and Travelodge was quiet people not slamming doors then no one fighting I turned 64 so it was very nice very peaceful at both places I stayed at I think I'm going to go back to the Travelodge for one more night so I can go swimming again the pool was clean it was very nice I have stayed at the Ramada inn also very nice very clean where else have I stayed I've stayed at a few of them no bison in no Dakota in no don't go there do not go there that's where people slam doors and yelling and fighting bison in in Dakota no bad place I had a wonderful birthday I did six nights of my birthday I do it every year for my birthday"

"The swimming pool area was really nice. I wish I could have brought my children on this trip. I showed them pictures and they were really excited - so maybe if we come back. Overall, the room was super clean, and there was attention to detail in its cleanliness. This was the first hotel room that I have felt comfortable being in in quite some time. "

"I travel regularly and am always pleased to see hotels doing something positive for the environment. Our hot breakfast included the option of real silverware, glasses, and plates. I thanked the person who was responsible at the point of service and the GM. Hope other hotels will stop throwing away our future with excessive trash."
