Loved the breakfast. Fantastic! Staff cordial, place is friendly and clean. Location was difficult to get to from train station. The building felt like a hostel. Needed a working restaurant; had to go out for dinner and lunch. No English channels provided; at least a news station would have felt inclusive.

It was clean, basic, same as the other Niu I stayed in. I prefer this brand of hotel because I know what I'm getting, they have decent soundproofing and only room card holders can access the accommodation part which I really appreciate as a solo female traveller.

The strret in front of the hotel is a construction site, the floors are smelly, the sound system on the rooms was broken and the breakfast buffet was well sorted. On the other hand the staff is nice the rooms are pretty new and the hotel is well placed, everything you need is in reach.

It’s a shame a hotel like Niu have such a poor customer service. I got ignored at the front desk because the two guys behind the counter had to finish a very important t conversation about a shirt and when I interrupted them, they looked very offended.

“Ruhiges Hotel, aber enttäuschende Ausstattung”
Bewertung: Unser Aufenthalt hatte sowohl positive als auch enttäuschende Aspekte. Positiv war, dass es im Zimmer unglaublich ruhig war – trotz der zentralen Lage an einer Kreuzung. Die Lautstärke war sehr angenehm, was für erholsamen Schlaf sorgte. Das WLAN funktionierte einwandfrei, sodass ich problemlos auf meinem Handy und Laptop arbeiten konnte. Der Zimmerservice war sehr sauber und freundlich. Leider gab es aber auch einige negative Punkte: In der App wurde angegeben, dass die Hotelanlage ein Fitnessstudio und eine Sauna hat, doch beide waren gesperrt. Das war für uns sehr enttäuschend, da wir jeden Tag Sport machen und dies einer der Hauptgründe für unsere Buchung war. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, das Fitnessstudio sei leer und ohne Geräte, und die Sauna sei wegen eines fehlenden Notfallknopfs außer Betrieb. Zusätzlich bot der Smart-TV kaum Funktionen, was den Komfort minderte. Das Frühstück war gut, aber hätte vielfältiger sein können. Ein Lob wegen glutenfreies Brot von uns. Besonders enttäuschend war jedoch, dass ein angekündigter Nachlass von der Rezeption bis heute nicht bei mir eingegangen ist. Solche Versprechen sollten unbedingt eingehalten werden! Aufgrund dieser Mängel würde ich insgesamt weniger Sterne vergeben.

Waren auf Kurzurlaub - Hotel an der Havel gelegen. Der Bahnhof in der Nähe war nicht störend. Das Zentrum war gut zu Fuss erreichbar - auch der Hafen gleich nebenan.
