We had a lovely stay for 2 nights. Very clean, comfortable and affordable. Allowed us to check in early when we turned up 20 mins early and everything was as expected and more. Right next to the East side gallery, and walking distance to lots of food places and public transport links. Checkout at 11 is also much appreciated, option to leave luggage if you wish.

We had an excellent 6 night stay at Locke. Quiet and convenient location - so many excellent food options within a 15- 30 minute walk. Also just 10 minute walk to west train station. Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a simple yet stylish place.

I have nothing but the highest praise for the entire staff at The Locke. Sadly, I was injured shortly after I’d arrived in Berlin (off premises) and had to wear a sling during my entire stay. The whole staff were extremely helpful and kind the whole time. This helped me during what would have otherwise been a very unpleasant time. The hotel itself is very nice and well situated (the East Side Gallery is literally at its doorstep and the Ostbahnhof a short walk.) I have nothing but praise for the hotel and its staff, and if I ever return to Berlin (hopefully under better circumstances) I will stay at The Locke again. I highly recommend The Locke for anyone traveling to Berlin.

Our room was amazingly well thought out and was like a home from home for the duration of our stay as opposed to the standard box that is most hotels. The staff were greatly accommodating and great to engage with throughout. The cafe was heavenly each morning for an awesome cappuccino. My only, slight, challenge was the sound proofing. On Saturday there was a House party until 3 am in the main dining area which just so happened to be directly below my room. The noise from this event was just about bearable but for lighter sleeper this would present more of a challenge. On the whole, I cannot wait to come back.

We loved our stay. The hotel is perfectly located at the Berlin Wall, beautiful property, the service was great. We were really impress with the rooms and the building in general. Amazing design, and the frond desk people are so helpful and nice. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Our stay at Locke at East Side Gallery was a wonderful experience. The facilities were beautiful with so many delightful touches, including local coffee and a French press to prepare it in. We could not hear our neighbors or those walking in the hall. The view of the river from the balcony was beautiful. The restaurant inside was excellent. The hotel is a close walk to the Ostbahnhof and the nearby shopping mall. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The staff were very helpful with directions,food suggestions ,activity suggestions.The hotel is in a very cool area It is busy out front of the hotel due to the East side Gallery(which was amazing). Young urban ,on the Spree ,outdoor flee markets close to restaurants,transportation, grocery and cafes. Walkable to Alexanderplatz.The free laundry was such a gift. We really enjoyed our 2 week stay.
