"The people at the front desk were helpful and friendly; check-in was a breeze. I liked that the room I had was a studio apartment. However, the kitchen could be equipped with basic condiments like salt, pepper and cooking oil. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I slept well. The hotel is a 35-40min walk from the train station, but you could take buses also."

"Great shuttle every 30 minutes to airport where you can catch the train. We stayed in apartments and would recommend if staying a few nights for the space and amenities. Great dining options at hotel, bar, and separate little store to buy snacks, coffee, drinks to take to your room. We would definitely stay again!"

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. "Super fun and hip! We got the Quad room with bunk beds, and it was clean, spacious, and perfect for the three of us. Possible Cons: -Road noise was a little loud, could also hear some flushing of toilets from other rooms. But these were too bad at night when sleeping. The lobby is also used as a local hangout/work spot, which I found nice, but if you get nervous about strangers being allowed into a hotel lobby, be aware. -Very hipster and young, perfect if you are into that vibe, feels very much like what you expect from Amsterdam, but might be overwhelming for older folks. VPNs are blocked on Hotel WiFi, so if your job requires you to access a VPN, prepare to use a hotspot."
