Property is very well located for walking the waterfront. The room was fairly clean but the bathroom had a number of items that need tending. Tub was damaged, toilet full of rust from always running water and faded wallpaper around toilet.

Took a minute to figure out how to turn the air on. Paying for parking easy. Comfortable bed, quiet night. Had to wait til after 3 for room and was substituted to a 2 queen to make check in faster. Which didn't matter, i just needed a room last minute

We checked in and only stayed a few minutes before leaving for supper. Upon our return to the room and preparing for bed, we heard the toilet gurgling loudly twice. In the morning, we prepared to shower, only to find the tub full of feces. It was not ours! When we contacted tge front desk, we were told we could go to another room to finish getting ready. However,we would have expected compensation such as a complimentary stay. However, all that was offered was free parking. We were not pleased and will NOT be staying at tge Barrington again.

Great location and good price! There were some stains on the carpet that looked to be very old though. Also, I left my phone charger in the room and when I called to ask about picking they denied having it, even though there’s no other place it could have been (I dug through all of my bags, and remembered I did not get it from where I plugged it in). My guess is that a staff member has it, which is unfortunate as I’d like to think that all staff could be trusted.

The Barrington was a very nice hotel. A bit of trouble finding our way there with construction in the area. It is a little dated but everything was clean and comfortable. Great location to walk around town.

There is major construction on the street at the entrance of the hotel. Parking is very inconvenient however the staff were super helpful with their instructions regarding the parking situation. Other than the construction, which is no fault of the hotel, the location was fantastic for access to the waterfront!

The positive is the great location, good/reasonably priced restaurant on the hotel. The negatives are that the hotel is very tired, and the whole area is under massive street construction. we arrived by car and had no access to the front of the hotel. We were only informed the day of our arrival/so we couldn't cancel, and the hotel's instructions for arriving by car were confusing, to say the least. the safe were not helpful, no one around to help with luggage so it was several hundred meters with suit cases through construction. Then another 500 meters walking to park the card. The hotel could have done better; at least had bellhops in the temporary unloading area and someone to guide you to the hotel.

Pai Pai at the front desk and all the staff were very professional and accommodating. Excellent service. Hotel inside is being renovated so it’s quite outdated but clean and definitely worth going back to.

Not the Barrington’s fault as major street reconstruction is happening at the moment but getting to the hotel was a challenge first time. As for the hotel, it is pleasant and well-maintained overall but obviously dated. It was once the DELTA Barrington but that affiliation has apparently past. Time for an update. At the same time, the price is reasonable, the beds are comfortable and everything is clean. Overall, a fair compromise.

Stayed here with family for a wedding. Staff were super helpful when we flew in hours early, allowing early check in. Always someone available to help with organizing taxis or tourist advice. Parts of the hotel look a bit dated but its all clean and well maintained and our rooms were great. Would stay here again as its so close to everything.

The temperature control didn't work the whole time, it just made a hissing noise when I turned on the fan. The tv guide thing didn't work for the majority of the time. Calling the wifi spotty would be a small overstatement. I got woken up at 7:30am one day because of the construction out front. If it wasn't for the staff, I would have bothered you for a partial refund, I sincerely hope you're paying them well. This was a learning experience for me because this hotel was rated an 8/10 on Expedia and that tell me what an 8/10 really means. I'm not even mad, though, what's paid for is paid for but in all honesty, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others.
