"There’s plenty of eateries and shopping all around. Money exchanges and the beach is a walk across the street. The only negative is there’s rampant beggars and peddlers trying to sell stuff or asking for money. It’s cool to help but it gets to be much when you just want to enjoy the views from the patio."

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the InterContinental Cartagena De Indias, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel welcomed. The bell hops, front desk, and concierge were attentive and always ready to assist with a smile. The service at the bar and pool area was top-notch. I want to give a special shoutout to Fabian, who was an awesome server, and Stephanie, the hotel supervisor on duty, who went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience. The breathtaking sunsets at the infinity pool were truly a highlight of my stay—one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever witnessed! My room was immaculate and offered an amazing ocean view that I found absolutely delightful. Each morning began with a delicious breakfast featuring a wonderful variety of local dishes and staple breakfast items. It was a great way to start each day! The hotel's location couldn't be more convenient. With the beach just steps away, a casino only a 3-minute walk, a shopping mall nearby, and an array of restaurants, there's plenty to explore within walking distance. The only slight downside was the parking—it was a bit confusing at first as it's located in the garage of the mall, but the rates were very reasonable, especially if you're going in and out frequently. Overall, my stay at the InterContinental Cartagena was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"
