Beach is not nice so not a good choice if you intend to stay at the hotel and want a beach vibe. I would not recommend if you intend to hangout at the hotel. But ok fir a weekend if you only sleep there"

"I have been traveling to Mahahual for solo fishing adventures every year for at least the last 8 years, and I have always stayed at the Cabanas Del Doctor, and I always will! I don't need anything fancy, but for the very reasonable price of a room or cabana here you won't find anything even close to as good. Also, the woman who runs the hotel/cabanas is wonderful, I look forward to seeing her every year. Hope to be back again soon, thank you for everything once again!"
