"Positive:The staff was all friendly and helpful. The pool is great, especially for children. I love the splash pad and it's so nice that is indoor. Everything appears to have been recently updated. Free breakfast was just okay for the Grown-ups but great for kids. Our son loved the pancake maker. The room was clean and adequate size with space for all your beach stuff. The location is great for a quick walk to the beach, mini golf right next door, and a short drive to Northside Park. Walking distance to get coffee and other treats. "Negative": The walls must be thin because we could hear everything all night. Bring your ear plugs and white noise app/machines. Coffee connoisseurs may want to consider going elsewhere in the mornings. Overall it's a great hotel! The "negatives" aren't a deal breaker. Just sharing for people to consider when they plan to stay."

"The tidelands was by far the best choice I could make for my Ocean City stay. Accommodations were clean, extremely spacious, and well equipped. I have been a gas multiple times in the past and will continue to be a guest in the future. Everything is walkable that I want to go to and I can usually get an oceanfront room for about half the cost of the competitors! "

"Decided to take a few days for myself and ended up booking this hotel. Being a woman by herself I felt very comfortable in this hotel. It's right on the boardwalk and conveniently in the middle. It's so nice to listen to the ocean right from your balcony and in your room. The staff was amazing, room very clean, insufficient parking for the time that I arrived in April. Not sure how it would be when it's the mid of summer. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, and I will be coming again in the future."
