"We had a famtastic stay here for a christmas weekend. 5 minuite walk to the Christmas markets if you prefer to use public transport, it is everywhere and free with the basel card receltion give you. The room.was perfect, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only thing that annoyed us (and complete miscommunication due to the lack of door signs) was out Sunday morning lay in was distrubred by the cleaners...but tbei is because the right sign for the door was not avaliable in our room....the sign appeared in our room later that day for us to use the following day. Apart from that, i cant fault the olace . One of the best hotels i have stayed at in recent years."

"Clean, comfortable, very close to Basel train station and the main tram line stop. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was big with great water pressure. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again."

"Loved this place! Quiet, classy, lovely! The front desk staff, doorman and bartender were all so friendly and helpful. We felt at home immediately. Rooms are impeccable- so clean and beautifully decorated (as is the entire hotel)! Lovely little perks: little chocolate cakes in our room, welcome drink vouchers for the bar. Would definitely recommend The Allure and hope to return someday."

"Every two weeks I travel to my property in Italy and Basle is the perfect midway point from Calais so to find the Carathotel in the perfect location just off the motorway with a large free car park is fantastic.Always friendly staff (even during Covid)large rooms with the very much appreciated bathtub.But as others have mentioned the breakfast choice and quality is my main reason for staying there. I think it offers incredible value for money also."
