The property is quite small and also older construction. The building I stayed in (believe it was Building 2 or 3) had a mildew smell in the hallways. The elevator was also very small and also looked older/weathered.
When I got to my room, I noticed the AC was not cold enough for the outside temperature. It did not go past 22C/72F. The bathroom vanity light also did not work on one side. Finally, the bed was dirty when I arrived; I found a black pair of underwear tucked behind the mattress into the space between the headboard. The throw blanket was also visibly filthy. I called twice to complain about this but nothing was done.
The restaurants are decent although I found the buffet food decent at best; everything lacked flavor. The restaurant over the beach had great Dominican food however.
Drinks were also either veryyyy sweet or the rum tasted watered down.
Staff was very kind and accommodating, so complaints with them.
