"Antigua Village was (I think) the first resort to be built on the island - and theres a good reason why they chose Dickenson Bay. Wonderful sandy beach - now somewhat dominated by the huge Sandals neighboring resort. We did go 19 years ago - before Sandals and it was great. AV is still in great condition and it laid back, fairly basic but clean, tidy and maintained. Studio was OK for space, large patio makes up for the relatively small size. Cleaners were great (every day) and there is a little store there for (inflated) basic supplies. First Choice supermarket is about a mile down the road. Local restaurants ranged from OK to great. Explore the island (by day - as the potholes can be nasty at night!) or just sit on the beach chairs - drink in hand, and relax."

"There has been vast improvements at Jolly Beach over the last few years. We had a great time. The people were fantastic and the property was very clean. The only critics of our room would be the shower faucets need changed and our guest room sink was very slow to drain. We cannot wait to go back to Jolly Beach Antigua!"

"It was a wonderful experience for me and my girlfriend to go down and enjoy a vacation here. The food was very good and two very nice beaches in walkable distance. The towels, chairs and cabanas that offered were all on the resorts property. Which made it easy. There was also bar service on the beach as well. "

"Very nice location. Excellent staff and water sports. Food above average. Only thing I didn’t like was that fresh salad and fruit was not covered and flies would walk on it. Get it covered and maybe some electric fly killing machines and they would get 5 stars from us 😎"

"Loved this resort! Everything was wonderful. Stayed here for six days. We were given a warm welcome when we arrived an immediate access to the facilities. The food was delicious and the views and private beach were wonderful! Special acknowledgment to Delia at the front desk and Lanie the restaurant hostess. The entire staff was very friendly and warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back. We took the all-inclusive package. The drinks were good. Not super strong, but good enough.My only con was that our room didn’t have the greatest water pressure in the shower? It was manageable. They even have an espresso/latte machine in the lobby! We are big New York coffee drinkers so that was a bonus as well. "
