"The front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant teams were wonderfully accommodating and helpful. The area can be noisy but it's in the heart of the busy city so noise is expected. Clean and easy to travel from to all parts of the city. . "

"This is not a place for outsiders. All of the other guests in the (tiny) bunks were poor Indian men on their way to be, say, a guest laborer somewhere (one man showed me his visa to Ghana). Anyway, it was awkward AF, so I powered through a couple nights and then moved next-door to the Afra hostel — still pretty much a local place, but MUCH better, and I even made some new good friends there. Actual showers, a few western toilets, a men's wing, a woman's wing, and a mixed dorm, no hangout space, but at least the bunks have really good curtains, and an electrical outlet and a light. Next-door at Shahana you're just in the dark if the room is in the dark, and you might be made to feel out-of-place."
