"Had a lovely stay with our grandson. The facilities at the hotel for kids is excellent. The soft play, pool and park were all worth a visit with the kids. We ate in the hotel for the 3 nights we were there. The food was lovely but not a great choice. Room was fine but could do with upgrading. Staying at this hotel you really need a car to get into Aviemore as it is a bit out of the centre. "

"Our GPS in the rental car wasnt working properly, so finding the cottage was a bit tricky to find, but once we did, oh my! What a great little place! Right on the water, with spectacular views- sunrise on the North Sea. The owner was easy to reach by phone and email. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed."

"Lovely stay at Ardoe House. Loved the spacious room, comfy king sized bed, and clean and modern bathroom. Very quiet at night. Certainly not in the centre of things but that’s what we wanted. Only thing we thought could be approved on was the dinners we had in the bar- very average. Had the steak sandwich and the beef was chewy, and the pasta with tomato and beef sauce was very bland. (And we are not foodies!) Fish and chips were fine, and breakfast choices were good. "

"I had a room over looking the harbour and spent a lot of time just watching the boats. The shower was excellent annd probably better than the one I have at home. I was genuinely impressed with my experience at the ibis. I didn’t eat in though as £12 for breakfast was too expensive in my eyes. One negative, twice my door card didn’t work after a long day out sightseeing, it would let you up in the lift, but then refuse to let you into the room.
