Abiko Trip

Staying in this hotel is an experience in itself!!! The area of Shinjuku feels like the busiest place on earth but you wouldn't know it when you're in your room as you can hear nothing of the hustle and bustle outside. The rooms are clean and tidy but incredibly small. We were constantly shifting suitcases around to make room to be able to do anything in the room. The beds are also small with one side of the bed pushed up against the wall, so if there's two of you, one person will have to climb over the other to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. While we stayed there was someone smoking in their room which was close by to us - even though the place is non-smoking. To summarise, stay here for a couple of nights maximum for the experience but go elsewhere if you are staying longer.

nice view of Tokyo tower, friendly front dest, room is pretty large in Japan, esay commute, but no shopping close by.

Loved my stay here! The hotel was very nice had many restaurants in the building there are a total of three hotels on the compound the grand prince hotel, shin grand prince hotel, and Sakura hotel I believe. You have access to all the restaurants in the three buildings. The garden was AMAZING the koi fish in the pond and the flowing stream water was a nice touch. I would highly recommend this hotel. I guess the room I got gave me access to the lounge where there was complimentary breakfast, separated from the other breakfast hall, you don’t get access to both though. If you have one of the more expensive rooms you only get access to the lounge breakfast there are also beverages available free of charge. Feels exactly like an airport lounge.

This is a great choice for staying around Shinjuku. The premier lounge is a very nice spot with very good amenities, and food and drinks. Price to value seems very good.
