"While the building has a bit of patina it does have charm. The staff makes one feel welcome. I prefer it to international style hotels where you could anywhere rather than somewhere. I felt somewhere."

"We stayed here when we first arrived in Mumbai and enjoyed the property and staff so much, we booked again on our return after touring south India. They just did some facade renovations that came out great in a historic building. Rooms either have attached bathroom or shared hostel type and both settings were clean with hot water. A/C in both rooms was working great. Rooms were both clean for check in. There’s a nice balcony with tables overlooking a busy street to just take in daily life....

"I have traveled the globe and have been in some uncomfortable accomodations, but this was easily the worst, grossest place I've ever stayed. My room had stains on the bed, on the walls, around the bathroom. They used this really strong chemical pesticide for the roaches (gross) that smelled so bad of chemicals. They masked the smell with perfumed aerosols and it was even worse! If you're prone to headaches or allergic to perfumes, be warned. It was so bad I asked for a partial refund so I could...

"I spent a night here with my 2 children as a treat in the city and what an absolute treat it was! From the moment we arrived we felt so comfortable. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. Check in was effortless and then the room. Wow! My children and I are v grateful for this experience and one we will most definitely want to experience again and again. The choice of food and stuff to do around is fantastic. Thank you to at St Regis for such an incredible stay. "

"We only stayed the one night and overall we found our stay very comfortable, the rooms are big and spacious and very clean. We stayed in the premier room and we were very pleased with the room. The buffet breakfast was excellent and you could also request off the menu ie. Omelette cooked to your choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and wish we could have stayed longer."
