"We came to the Western Dragonara in 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We returned again March 2025 and was not disappointed. Lovely professional and welcoming staff. Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Always cleaning and making the hotel lovely. Plenty of fresh choice everyday for breakfast. All the staff are so friendly and chatty. Highly recommend Palios for food. We will be back for sure next year."

"Nice bright public areas though the bedrooms are clearly in need of some updating and the hotel’s definition of a deluxe suite is a bit ambitious. The full sea view was simply a narrow view of the harbour. Not worth the extra cost. Go for a side sea view on the pool side for a better vista. Had specifically requested a high floor room in advance of arrival but was given a room on the first floor, one above the ground even though there are 10 floors. Disappointing. Bar area packed with no seating...

"Hotel was gorgeous. This is a brand-new hotel and the facilities are excellent. Staff are efficient although at times can be a little bit overbearing. Be careful of the pre-authorisation of €100 per day as you check in. This was not mentioned in any paperwork or terms of conditions prior to our arrival so it was a shock to us. "

I arranged for a direct transfer from the airport to the hotel and it was worth every penny after a long journey from Canada. The drivers who work with the hotel are amazing. The breakfast options are fresh and plentiful, and the service was excellent. Gozo is a beautiful island and I highly recommend a stay at the Kempinski. 10/10 will absolutely return. "
