"This is a great hotel on the waterfront in Fort Kochi. It is a marvellous restoration of this old boatyard to create a very colonial feel. There are some nice touches to take advantage of such as high tea at 5pm each day followed by a guided tour of the harbour on the hotel’s very nice boat. All the staff were excellent but I give particular thanks to Arun who could not do enough for us. "Service and cleanliness was excellent. Staff are good. But for a 5-star they seemed lacking in some areas where they missed keeping the snacks and beverages in the room as well lack of some important stuff required for a hotel stay. Breakfast was good with good variety. All restaurants and even room service closes at 10.30 pm which is a complete NO for a 5-star hotel"

"I had a lovely stay at this hotel - my room was large with a beautiful view of the pool, and the food was delicious. The staff were so courteous and helpful. I’d like to give special praise to Swaralaya - I was taken ill one day with an anaphylactic attack. By this point, I was alone, as the rest of the group I was travelling with had left. Swaralaya looked after me, calling an ambulance, and accompanied me to hospital. She stayed with me in the emergency room, and returned to visit me with fruit the next day. When I returned to the hotel, she helped me pack my suitcase. She was so calm and attentive, assisting me at a very difficult time."
