" Staff very friendly and friendly with each other, menu very poor, food apart from lobster was very good. Dining was very expensive for what you got. Cleanliness in hotel was very good, bedroom not so, went to make a coffee only to find the kettle disgusting, the spout was even full of dried sediment. Stayed here 20 months ago and I'm afraid the hotel has gone down and the prices up. Don't think it should be classed as five star anymore. Which is a shame because it is a beautiful place."

"Such a fantastic place and hosts. Great home was uniquely modern with large rooms and excellent amenities. Beautiful views from our room. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast had everything. "Really relaxing stay - the hotel is in a stunning Glen on the edge of the Caingorms with spectacular scenery. The staff were really helpful (all of them) and my evening dinner was great. I regret not staying for longer, but will be back. Only negative (but may be a positive) was the lack of a phone signal - although the wifi was great."
