"We enjoyed our stay at CBR boutique hotel. The room was beautifully decorated on a book theme, even in the toilet and shower stall. Kudos to the cleaning staff as everywhere was spotless, especially with all the nooks and crannys present in the stone carved books. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room very quiet at night, especially considering we were overlooking the suare. Marc on reception was very helpful and courteous. "Beatiful hotel in a beatiful area with green and river indoor (SMALL) and outdoor pools a spacious lobby and spacious nice rooms with balcony. Only issue is the relatively poor breakfast especially for vegetarian. Not big choice and not good stuff."

"The Pharmacia is an excellent hotel in a nice location to tour Coimbra. All instructions were helpful as I arrived later in the evening. My room was much bigger than I expected and was very comfortable. Juan was very god at helping me with questions and he walked me to the Coimbra B train station bus. "

"We enjoyed our stay at CBR boutique hotel. The room was beautifully decorated on a book theme, even in the toilet and shower stall. Kudos to the cleaning staff as everywhere was spotless, especially with all the nooks and crannys present in the stone carved books. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room very quiet at night, especially considering we were overlooking the suare. Marc on reception was very helpful and courteous. Unloading luggage was a challenge as we missed the small area we could park the car to unload, with construction going on in the street. So we carried on to the free carpark, directly across the bridge from the hotel, about a 5 minute walk. We were not crazy about the open bathroom with glass doors on the toilet. May feel awkward if sharing with friends. The hotel is in a great location, close to all areas of interest and we would definitely recommend it for a stay in Coimbra."
