"Had a lovely stay in the standard room the view was lovely overlooking the dock. The bedroom was cold but there was a plug in radiator so it soon warmed up. The bed was lovely and comfortable had to search for the kettle so we could have a tea in the morning ( enough room on the top to leave it out) The bathroom was a bit dated and could do with refurb. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice. "

"I loved the location and the hotel was lovely. What let the hotel down was the receptionist who checked us in. She was very unfriendly and quite rude at check in. A great shame as this was our first impression of the hotel. "

"Great central property! Very clean and modern. Great staff, great breakfast. The only criticism I have is that I didn’t know I could ask for vegetarian sausages at breakfast and I didn’t know either that I could ask for eggs &c to be cooked for me. It might be worth just telling guests this sort of thing when they enter the breakfast area or when they are served coffee. "

"We had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this amazing hotel. The Cumberland is a great choice when visiting London especially if you are traveling with your kids. We reserved a junior suite which had a very comfortable pull out sofa already made up for our teenage daughter. The room was spacious and so very clean. "Great place to stay if you're seeing a show around victoria (Hamilton or wicked). Loved the modern look. Really comfy. We enjoyed controlling the room from the tablet. The only one little issue is having to fiddle with the lights on the tablet if you need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. Lots of other light fixtures also had physical switches. The toilet could probably do with one too. Sorry if there was and we missed it."

"I loved the hotel and the location! The restaurant downstairs was convenient, and the lobby is a wonderful place to relax while waiting for your ride or a friend. The doors of the neighboring rooms could be heard opening and slamming closed which was inconvenient at 6 o'clock in the morning. Looking past that hiccup, the rest of the experience was wonderful! I would recommend to any of my family and friends! "

"We spent our Christmas and New year in this hotel. Staff are very helpful and friendly, message them online for our needs and we’re responded quickly. Walkable distance to London Eye, Big Ben, waterloo train station and tube, super convenient location. Will definitely book again next time when we visit London!"

"Smart, modern, clean, though a very compact hotel which just about ticks all the boxes as "4 star" although of course a little limited in terms of areas to hang out for long. Nevertheless, some of the more blasé reviews underestimate what £150 or so a night gets you elsewhere in central London. Lovely rooms, great views, and very good check in experience. This will be our new go-to hotel when we need to be this side of London for a night."

"The Yotel is in a fantastic position with Farrington Underground station only about 250 metres away. There are also heaps of bus stops within 100 metres, even though I never used the buses. Everywhere I needed or wanted to go to were only a few stops away on the tube. The Elizabeth Line got me to most places (including back to Heathrow) and the other lines I used (Circle, Metropolitan, etc) were also handy to anywhere I wanted to visit. Once you get used to the tube lines it's very easy to get around. As for the staff, they have all been great. Friendly and knowledgeable about the best places to go to and best trains to catch. My room was only a single and I was a bit disappointed with the lack of wardrobe space. There was a tiny bed-side table with a roll-out shelf for my laptop, as well as 2 small drawers for smaller clothing items. More annoying was the lack of a kettle to boil water to make a coffee or tea. In fact there was no coffee or tea in the room. Nor was there any crockery and cutlery, which makes sense when you can't make yourself a hot drink! I spent a lot of time in the cafeteria, which is where you can get your meals throughout the day as well as setting up the laptop to do some work, check emails, etc. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and found the convenience to everywhere the best part of my time here."
