"Have stayed here many times before but on this occasion our sleep was disturbed every night from 4am to 8am due to a Cockerell being kept in a nearby property. The area is normally fairly quiet but the apartment blocks and residents really need to get this problem sorted out. Talking to local residents they too are annoyed by the noise and disturbed sleep caused by the crowing Cockerell and we saw some people complaining to the owner keeping the chickens. "I stayed at the hotel for 12 nights. Convenient location, roof top terrace with great views of the town and the sea. It was great to start the day eating breakfast (simple but good quality) on the roof terrace. All the staff were friendly and helpful. There are good restaurants and cafes near to the hotel. The hotel was good value for money - all positives. The bedrooms facing the road are very noisy especially at night. There is a night club adjacent to the hotel. Be aware. "

While my son and I have explored the area extensively, and it is absolutely worth a visit, on my final night there is no place I would rather sit. "I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Wave. My room was spacious, comfortable, and peaceful. The hotel is located in a quiet yet convenient spot overlooking the fantastic beach (5min walk away). The views from the rooftop restaurant of the beach and coastline are tremendous. Included breakfasts were filling and tasty and dinners were good too. Staff was friendly and attentive. Parking was easy. Excellent value. I hope to return!"

"The property is quaint and clean, as it is a newer facility. The staff is young and eager, so I tipped everyone GENEROUSLY. While they are listed on Expedia, they do not accept payment through Expedia and do not honor the prices. Check-in was eventful, as they insisted they did not receive payment via Expedia.
