"It was a very clean room with a beautiful view. The hot tub and sauna were a nice touch. The property is spread out so you will need to walk outside to get to the dining or the gym facilities. Dinner offered several options and was very good. Breakfast was limited but enjoyable overall. "

"Hotel was fine and restaurant food was good but very expensive. Staff don’t remember to credit our bill for the free drinks included in the rate although I asked them too. Beds were comfortable and shower had hot water which are most important things in a room. "

"Hotel Laki is well located if you want to continue exploring beyond Vik, perhaps taking in Skaftafell and Jokulsarlon. In my opinion it doesn't merit the 8.8 rating it currently has on the platform, but if only management organised a couple of days' snagging the whole vibe could be lifted: why was the picture in my room hung crooked? Why was the light fitting not attached properly to the ceiling? Why was the cord shortened so amateurishly using a cable tie? It's a shame as the fitting itself was...

They have 2 cute doggies, one of which came right up to my car door to greet me when I opened it. We also got to see the Northern lights here (thank God) which was so cool and beautiful. "

"The room and bathroom were relatively small but worked for us. We did not like the hot tubs and they were not warm enough, only 38C. Sauna was ok. We enjoyed the breakfast, good selection and good coffee."

"Great stay! Very cute and clean, friendly staff. The only thing we would have preferred is if there were three separate beds instead of one double but we’re just being picky. Shared washrooms and showers were very nice and clean. Complimentary breakfast was awesome, nice variety of food! Would highly recommend and stay again. "

"The guesthouse is surrounded by pure beauty of which we were in awe. The host was so sweet and we felt safe & comfortable during our stay. We were satisfied with our room and felt like it met our needs well. It’s a great place to see the aurora, because there is no light pollution. We would definitely return. Highly recommend! "
