"Staff tried hard to keep everyone happy. Front desk employees are very helpful and friendly. Pick up and ride back to the fast ferry is very helpful. I did not like the daily 2 plastic water bottles in the room. Should offer a water container for guests to refill their own water bottles to save on trash. My room had no window, felt claustrophobic."

"This is one of those hotels you get just for sleeping. Staff was helpful with luggage and getting a taxi. Room was clean. One downside is the taxi couldn't drop us off directly at the front door. We had to walk half a block. If you're fine with this, the hotel will work for you. "

"Rooms are small and compact, but service is amazing. Arjuun went above and beyond as did the staff at Ocean Grand, their sister hotel around the corner. Those rooms have the views as the hotel is right on the waterfront. Can’t go wrong with either place. I recommend. "

"I had an absolutely fantastic stay, the staff are incredible, rooms clean and spacious and the food absolutely delicious. I was nervous about being a solo traveller, and this wasn’t a problem at all, variety of guests and friendly staff made for a very welcome stay! Will definitely be returning! "

"As someone who has traveled to more than 30 countries, this is the first time I will write such a comment. The excursion manager of the hotel is an incompatible person named Zizu. He discriminated against us among other guests because we did not participate in the trip he wanted. He scammed us and charged us $20 extra per head. "Blocks off the beach. Beach sand coral and coarse. Host is responsive and provides a concierge. Access to surfing spots. Seasonal temperature and humidity is bordering intolerable. Political graffiti is ever present. Beautiful islands, third world charm. Overwhelming Muslim environment, including social restrictions. Safe and fair value, fantastic effort by host and concierge as much as possible. Long and pricey taxi by boat ($50 a couple each way) to arrive at the property. Noise disturbances...

"Lovely hotel with fantastic helpful friendly staff. Room great and spotlessly clean. Excellent food in the restaurant. Very quiet and peaceful when we visited. Thulusdhoo is a quiet local island, no alcohol available but that was no problem for us."
