"Staff tried hard to keep everyone happy. Front desk employees are very helpful and friendly. Pick up and ride back to the fast ferry is very helpful. I did not like the daily 2 plastic water bottles in the room. Should offer a water container for guests to refill their own water bottles to save on trash. My room had no window, felt claustrophobic."

"We needed to spend a night in Male for an early flight and this hotel (difficult to find) was just 5 minutes to the airport ferry station which operates from 05:30am. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and gave us a basic packed breakfast due to our early departure. Male itself is not an interesting place "

"Huvan Beach Hotel is right on the Hulhumale beach. There is an excellent restaurant called Red Snapper downstairs. It is close to grocery shopping stores like Red Wave and SJ Mall. However, the room was very small, and the window was facing a wall, limiting available sunlight into the room."

"I stayed at the hotel 6 nights and I wished I stay more. The hotel is not really like in the pictures but this wasn't a problem for me. Because the people from the reception to the restaurant have made the difference. And the delicious food they cook,and the surrounding ... Overall,it was a very good and pleasant stay!"

"Not the best location, rooms were clean, room furniture was old - no handles, drawers glued shut. Breakfast was not the best and very cramped, nice helpful staff. Very small balcony with only room for one chair! Driver always there on time for transfers/trips. Area was dirty in places with lots of rubbish around, roads extremely busy in the evening. "

He discriminated against us among other guests because we did not participate in the trip he wanted. He scammed us and charged us $20 extra per head. "The kindness of staff is as unlimited as coffee and tea on the 2nd floor. The guy from reception helped us with luggage on the way to the hotel and also back. They provided snorkel equipment for free. Breakfast is very tasty, espiecialy maledivian one. Room is clean and spacious enough, one disadvantage is that we didn't have window and maybe that's why you can feel excess humidity. "

"The staff are the best part of this hotel. They were so pleasant and accommodating. Shout out to Rehman ( think spelling ok) for lovely service. The transfer service to the hotel for pick up and drop off was great. The property itself is what you pay for but we used this as a base to get to the airport easily instead of worrying about speedboats before a flight. Only thing I could improve is soap in the bathroom would be useful. "
