"When I arrived at the hotel and presented my credit card, I was told that the credit card machine was broken and that I would have to pay cash instead. They were perfectly willing to turn me away and let me wander around the dirt roads around the hotel looking for any other hotel that might be willing to take me in at the last minute without a reservation. "Stayed in a suite, which was of okay size. The stay was comfortable and the service was fine. But the breakfast was miserable. Since the property is bang on the old mumbai Pune highway, and within the Lonavala town, one can opt for breakfast outside. Finally, it's a boutique resort and not a full service large one. "

"The hotel was 5 star, the staff was helpful to a point, the Restaurent food was good, only thing We did not like was that hotel did not provide wash cloth in the bathroom and hotel lobby was very slippery for senior citizens. Over all, our stay was ok. "

"I think the positive reviews are paid ones. They converted an old bungalow into a hotel. It was right besides train crossing and every now and then you could hear the noise of trains. Some basic facilities like intercom was missing. Although the rooms were clean and tidy, the bedsheet was not so clean. A basic thing like shampoo and bodywash were not provided. Last but not the least, when i wanted to make a card payment, they did not have card swiping machine. Nothing great about the food. "
