"I loved my stay here the staff are so easy going and friendly. The Ayurvedic massage is the best in Varkala and the view of the beach and ocean is amazing. I wanted a laid back place with no stress and that’s what Nebo is for me. There is no restaurant however Cafe Sarawaa and Trip is Life is minutes away. Also if looking for peace and quiet this is the place to visit South cliff as North Cliff is too loud and busy. Stayed in both and I prefer South ❤️"

"Very old rooms, water not coming in bathroom washbasin, sometimes no water in commode. Lot of construction happening in the hotel. Limited vegetarian food choice. "

"Helpful staff and clean rooms with sea views across the helipad/car park. Near to clifftop restaurants and the beach. Quiet during weekdays. Slightly lacking in atmosphere (restaurant is only open for breakfast - no evening bar/restaurant available, although there are many within a short walk)"

"It was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is newly opened and rooms are fresh. The staff are very friendly, especially Assistant Manager Abhey, Jayan, and the restaurant team. They made me feel like a home. The cooked home made food, even I made a special request to cook Kerala’s famous kheer! It was amazing. The hotel is just 5 mins from the beach. "This hotel does not have a tie-up with hotels.com and does not honor the reservation/confirmation from hotels.com. We reached the hotel only to be told that they do not have a tie-up with hotels.com or expedia. Fortunately, it was a 'Pay-at-Proeperty' reservation and hence did not lose any money. "Really sweet spot just off the beach up a commerce alley. Jishnu the host was very nice and helpful with getting comfortable. Hot shower if you want it - but I’ve learned to love taking cold showers here - and the bathroom was perfectly clean and well appointed. I will be back here at the Gypsy next year for sure."

"The reception staff was very friendly. However the room was a disappointment. There was not toilet paper, the sheets were dirty and stained. I had to use a towel on the bottom sheet and slept in my clothes. I booked for two nights and stayed one night and checked out. The location was nice very close to the beach and local restaurants. I would not recommend staying here. "
