"I waited two months to avoid writing this review, but the hotel owners are not responding. 1) I got charged 4 times, across three cards. The credit card companies and I are trying to contact them for the past few weeks, but they won’t respond. At. All. 2) we ate once at the restaurant on the property. The hotel manager seemed strange, incoherent and repeatedly saying what he wanted to say. I speak Tamil, but couldn’t get the guy to bring only what we ordered and charge only the price listed....

"Overall nice place with all the basic stuff in good order. I found the check in process a bit cold and unwelcoming. One of the lights didn’t work but they were on it quick! They have a nice roof top restaurant with good food and cocktails. Their rooms and breakfast was pretty nice as well. Not too found of the busy location. Overall a good hotel and I would stay here again."

"This is probably the best accommodation we saw in the town itself. It was brightly lit and easy to find. The streets around the hotel are dirty but probablly no more dirty than anywhere in India. I cant blame the hotel for thet. The staff here are very helpful and courteous. I enjoyed my stay here and would not hesitate to reccomend it to anyone. There are a few nice restaurants next to the hotel where you can get a beer and some wine."

(Engineering contractors need to be instructed to conduct any conversations in an area out of guest view.) First room alloted wasn't great and had a rather disgusting health faucet. Second room was decent. Coffee mugs were broken and caused a spill. (IRD) Received no apologies regarding the same. Hallways were a mess and were dirty, with footprints and dust. Housekeeping trolleys were kept in the reception lobby throughout the day. Did not feel that this hotel was a part of IHCL except for the staff service."
