"The front desk staff were very nice. Housekeeping was good, but the shower was small and the towels were thin. But for three star hotel, this is as good as it gets. Knowing what I’m paying for, would I stay here again? Definitely."

"This is a tiny unpretentious hotel, very hard to get to, and with impossible parking. Rooms are tiny, and quite minimalist in appurtenances. No A/C or fans. Tiny staircases, with tiny elevator, which stops short of floor destinations, requiring a few steps carrying your luggage. Could do in a pinch for a very brief stay. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Bastille. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was great too. We thoroughly enjoyed the orange juicer. It was delicious and refreshing. The hotel was in a great location and we would stay here again. Thank you!"

Superior Double Room, Courtyard View | Terrace/patio

"Close by to restaurants, shopping, bakeries and metro as well as Accor Arena which is why I was there. The room was small but it was only a place to sleep. The hairdryer had to be held in to work which was sore for your hand after a while. The lift didn’t go up to each floor- it stopped in between floors and you either went up or down to your floor so not ideal for disabled people and I nearly fell when I opened the lift door, not expecting the small stair that served as a landing. "

Great short stay

"We had a great stay at the Aurora Hotel. Two nights, we chose not to have breakfast at the hotel as there is a lovely boulengie just around the corner. The hotel was clean, our room was quite small but adequate for our needs. Staff were excellent and friendly. 5/10 minutes walk from Gare de Lyon for our onward train. There was tea and coffee available in the room and lobby as well at kettle is available in the room also. The bathroom is also small and again ok for our needs on a short stay. Towels, hairdryer and shampoo/body wash are provided in the bathroom. Our room was on the front of the hotel on the fourth floor, fairly quiet as no traffic passes right in front of the hotel. The price was good in comparison with other hotels in the area and we would stay again. Hotel reception staff also spoke good English so we were able to practice our French and they their English. "

"Stayed flasnpartnof group for rugby. Great for what we needed hotel for. Cleanliness lacks a little and rooms are a bit battered. Apart from this, ace location with metro 2 min walk and lots of bars/eateries in door step. Will be back in two years for Scotland game! "
