"Okay 'budget' hotel with average facilities. Staff do their best to provide good service. We stayed in 1/2 dozen different hotels over 2 1/2 weeks in India. None are up to Western standards, but non were poor either. Important note if you are asking for directions to the hotel - the correct name is "Hotel Mani Ram Palace", not "Hotel Maniram." "Poor hotel. i have stayed in many budget hotels and I do not expect luxury since I am paying budget. But even if you are budget, you must have at least some standard of comfort and service. Aircon not working. Informed staff and they did not bother. No towels. Told the staff and they did not send. Cold shower. told them and they did not bother. Slept in stuffy and hot room, dried myself with my own clothes and showered in cold water."

Exceptional Hospitality
"Let me start with saying that we were exceptionally pleased with the Staff of the property and their food and beverage Department. We had a medical episode related to the property while at the property and everyone was super courteous and swung into action immediately. In adversity there are two paths for any business, turn that adversity into a positive experience or destroy the guest experience. This property did the former and very commendable. They all showed compassion, empathy and concern which is 80% of the battle. Special thanks to the GM Gagan Nagpal, F&B Manager, Chef and the entire front staff. All went beyond call of duty which is truly commendable. Will highly recommend this property. "
