Country Houses in Spain

"We were looking for a hotel near the Barcelona airport, and this one is perfect. The rooms are appointed for such purposes—not a lot of storage, but we didn’t need it, since we were just staying the night. The shuttle service is great. But the biggest treat here is the good. Others have mentioned the great breakfast buffet, but the dinner in the restaurant was amazing! I had the sea bass and my husband had the chicken with the world famous chorizo. We began with a cheese plate and ended with Catalan crème. Delicious! What a treat! "

"Great hotel right across from the plaza de Espana so very convenient. Roof top bar is amazing. Breakfast which was included was amazing. I do want to make a note its a big hotel. Staff was great, no issues with the elevators and there is a taxi stop right in front of the hotel which adds to the convenance."

"Room was a little compact, but otherwise very nice and clean. Location is great, close to la Rambla, subway stations, and lots of eating options aound. Lots of little markets to buy snack or drinks also. The area was quiet and we felt safe, but there are some homeless people around and some streets smelled badly, but nothing too concerning. Would definetely recommend."
