I stayed for a week in May. The property is beautiful. I had the swim up suite as did my sister. Both of us had found a few roaches. My sister found one in the drain. I found a few in the closet. You are on an island so I dont expect it to not find any bugs at all. The room had a moldy smell on some of the furniture. I assume it is from people leaving their wet swimsuits on things. The resort was beautiful. The food was really good. The beach was stunning. I would stay again. Be aware the DR has a strong tipping culture. Id prefer the tip to be included in the cost of the resort so I do not feel pressured to tip every single staff I encounter. All in all, my gamily had a great stay. I would come again and i would recommend this resort. I would just disclose some cons as well.
