"We had a wonderful time at Layana. The transportation from Krabi airport was very much appreciated. It was very hot in Thailand while we were there and the pool was great, we spent hours around it and in it. Low tides are extreme, so swimming is limited to high tide. Note that none of the resort restaurants have AC - they are all open-air, so if there is a heat wave, it can be uncomfortable to eat outside, but they do offer room service to your bungalow, which has an AC unit."
