Unprofessional
Reached at 10 PM and was told that there was no room available. One person told me that one guest decided to extend his stay, and the other told me that there was some booking glitch by Treebo like two people trying to book at the same time and both confirmed while there was only one room available. I smiled and nodded. I thought both were lying and had given my room to somebody thinking I was not going to show up.
They took me to another Treebo at IFFCO chowk about a kilometer away. In the first room light worked but the there was no power to charging points, heater, AC etc. Took me some time to discover that and when informed the person wondered but the light work so what was the problem. Was shifted to another room. AC was making weird sound and going on/off intermittently. Got up around 2-3 AM all sweating. The AC was not working and the room was like an oven. Luckily there was a small door to the balcony and kept it open to get some air circulation. Didn't sleep after that.
Have stayed at Treebo earlier but seems like will go to independent hotels in future if I need to sleep.
